Uk-based graphic designer Jenny Moorcroft captures the poignancy of World War I correspondence in this book perfectly. Think of the men scrolling letting in a trench by lamplight not knowing if they had seen their last sunset. Or the officers, dictating news and reports of battles won and lost, of lives lost and missed. Jenny designed this to visualize the emotions and words of those letters through type in the form of a book. Take a look. They're gorgeous.
