Russian marine biologist and underwater photographer (read that again to yourself and tell me you're not already impressed) Alexander Semenov understands the importance of photographing the tiny organisms that live underwater. Alexander works at the White Sea Biological Station, in northwest Russia, as head of the scientific divers team. As a marine biologist, he's trying to study underwater life in their own environment through the lenses of his camera. For Alexander, it's very important to observe how sea creatures, live, feed, interact, and reproduce. He hopes to show his findings not only to other scientists, but to all people. There are entire societies of creatures living underwater that most humans rarely interact with or even know about. Alexander is happy to shed some light onto their existence. What we're left with are gorgeous photographs of creatures sometimes too small for the human eye to see on its own. Check them out!
