Breaking The Audio Fiction Form
Breaking The Audio Fiction Form in a quarterly event series programmed and emceed by myself and Jocelyn Kuritsky. It is hosted by Julian Tepper of The Coffee House Club at the prestigious Salmagundi Club in NYC. The goal is to bring people together who are creating within the audio fiction/radio drama space, as well as the New York theater space, for advice, information sharing, and connection. It is also just as important for us to look back at the history of radio drama and audio fiction, in order for us to look ahead.
Guests have been included, and are not limited to, legendary producer Julian Schlossberg, head of Tribeca Audio Davy Gardner, theater critic David Cote, NYC historian Carl Raymond, and former head of scripted fiction at Spotify Mimi O’Donnell.
